Absolutely loved our stay at the Hiveaway Skep Cabin! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The cabin itself was beautifully designed and spotlessly clean, making it the perfect retreat. Nestled in a stunning location, it offered breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We would love another stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved our weekend break in the Hyde - we'd booked for three nights but could have happily stayed longer. The cabin was warm and cozy with the log fire and was comfortable with plenty of space. We enjoyed getting to use the hot tub in the evenings and Lauren was helpful when we needed things.

We loved our stay at the Skep. Nick and Lauren were friendly and helpful and kept in touch before and during our stay. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed, and lots of thoughtful touches. The views were great; it was amazing to see the stars overhead through the window above the very comfortable bed. Even the weather was kind so we could enjoy the fire pit in the evening after a day's exploring, and then come into the cosy cabin kept warm by the brilliant log-burner. We'd thoroughly recommend the Hiveaway to anyone looking for a few days away from TV and wifi (although the phone signal was better than we have at home!). Thank you Nick and Lauren for providing such an opportunity.

What a beautiful location, I don’t think I’ve ever relaxed so quickly on a break before. Laura & Nick were very helpful their cabin was amazing with everything provided, the hot tub was positioned perfectly to look out over the breathtaking views & to watch the sun go down. I highly recommend this place if you’re wanting to relax.

We've been staying here in The Hyde for our first wedding anniversary and it's wonderful. We stay in lots of similar places and this is one of the nicest cabins we've ever stayed in. From the kitchen layout, to the fireplace grill top to the little candle holders by the hot tub the layout has been really well thought out so it feels spacious and relaxing. The setting is wonderful, really recommend the short walk up to the bench in the top field. The Hyde feels very private and peaceful and the photos online didn't do the views or setting justice. Really recommend the breakfast hamper and buying the eggs from the honesty box, you can tell they are from happy hens! Great veggie options in the hamper and surprisingly well stocked veggie range in the villaye shop. Lauren and Nick have been lovely hosts, checking in by text and there for anything we need but leaving us to relax and enjoy the space ourselves. Lovely base to explore the area, or just relax and enjoy where you are.

Simply stunning - we went for a sister vacation and it completely surpassed all of our expectations! The hosts have really thought of everything: there's fairy lights to guide you to the cabin when it's dark, wheelbarrows for your luggage, comfy robes to swan about it, and an honesty box to stock up on extra wood/firelighters/fresh eggs. The cabin instructions were sent in advance and told us exactly what was provided/what we needed to bring, the directions were easy-to-follow, and from the moment we arrived we could relax as everything had been taken care of. The Skep is utterly gorgeous and a great size: the cabin is private, peaceful, and tucked away at the top of a lovely little woodland walk. The bed is ridiculously comfy and the view out of the large folding doors is just beautiful. The rainfall shower has plenty of hot water, the log burner heats the cabin up quickly, and the gas oven/hob are perfect for making proper meals. There's USB sockets for your phones and a single low-wattage plug socket (so no hair dryers, but ideal for a laptop charger). There's also plenty of teas (decaf, regular, mint), instant and cafetiere coffee, and the hosts provided our preferred choice of milk too. The creme-de-la-creme is the wood-fired hot tub: it uses fresh spring water and no nasty chemicals so you need to empty/refill it after each use, but this is easy to do and makes the experience so much more enjoyable knowing you're not bathing in nasties! It takes up to 4 hours to fill/heat and uses approx. 2 bags of logs each time, but once it's heated up it stays hot for ages. They kindly prep the fire for your first use and you can pre-buy more logs before your visit, or just stroll down to the parking area and make use of the honesty box there. The site location is ideal for getting away from everything and if you love the seaside there's an abundance of stunning beaches just a 25-35 minute drive away. We'd recommend Poppit Sands (definitely get brunch at Crwst whilst you're there), Penbryn (especially at sunset), and Llangrannog if you want good waves for bodyboarding/surfing and fresh pizza on the beach. Thank you Lauren & Nick for a truly luxurious and relaxing vacation - we'll be recommending you to anyone who's heading to Wales, and we'll 100% be trying the Hyde next time we're in Ceredigion!

We have had the most incredible time at The Hiveaway! We stayed for 3 nights In the Skep and are already planning when we can go again! It's a beautifully crafted space with so many well thought out details! The views are stunning to wake up to, the privacy you feel is amazing and it truly felt like a little sanctuary! We loved exploring the area but equally loved just getting back to spend time at The hiveaway as it was just so magical! Thank you Lauren and Nick!

A lovely location for some quite and peaceful timeout. The place is very well equipped with lots of love in the details. The hot tub and the fire place are the icing on the cake. Close to the location are some stores and nice places to eat out in case you don't want to use the cute kitchen. Lauren and Nick provide their guests with many information about the place and the area around and were available by phone to answer any questions coming up. Beaches are about 20 min. by car and there are lovely coastal hiking trails. Just plan to also walk all the way back since there might be no bus connections. Overall we had a fantastic time.

We’ve just stayed for 3 nights at The Skep and it was amazing. A beautiful cabin set in its own field with the most incredible views. This is a proper luxury level experience. We’ve loved relaxing in the wood-fired hot tub in the evening, followed by a few drinks around the fire pit … all with that awesome view that stretches for miles! When it did rain, we made great use of the cosy seating area with a wood burner. The lovely Daffodil Inn (a 15-20 min walk away) has a really great gastro menu from Wednesday to Sunday. Thanks Nick and Lauren. We will be back.

A delightful location for this ‘away from it all’ accommodation. The Skep was just as described with everything we needed for a three night stay. The bed was king sized and very comfortable. The layout is cleverly designed and the use of reclaimed materials for the interior furnishings add to it’s charm. The Daffodil Pub is a short walk away and offers a great food and drink several days a week. I would highly recommend The Hiveaway.
