We discovered this lovely place by accident. I had my first taste of cawl which was delicious and my husband enjoyed a great crumble. We'll definitely visit again!

We stopped for lunch and sat in the covered outdoor seating area because we had our dogs with us. The food was very nice and good value, I had the pulled pork ciabatta which was very tasty and the coleslaw that came with it was one of the best I've ever had. I look forward to going again.

Satisfactory range of Welsh and local food to choose from, I ordered the Welsh cawl. As a fist time experience with Welsh cuisine, I greatly enjoyed my meal and wine/ liquor tasting board, of which I chose the gooseberry wine to take home(dry) the least sweet of my options. The Pallet friendly flavours, style of logo and gift packing options all make this a good place to purchase a Souvenir for somebody. It was also refreshing to be able to bring my dog along. It was a particularly hot day and the plant nursery looked a little dry and sad so I didn’t purchase anything from there. It would be more appealing for further visits if the decor was better suited to the theme of the establishment, the busy nature (fake bouquet/rainforest wall paper) took away from the experience. Overall, would definitely recommend !

Fantastic wines, spirits, chocolate, fudge, cheese, soft drinks. I send bottles of the fruit wines with cheese and chutney. Or brandy fruit cake (gluten free as well), hampers of goodies or simple prezzies and every person has raved about them. Bistro lovely, indoor and outdoor seating, friendly funny hosts. A really nice place to shop and eat

Fantastic food. Simple home made local Welsh food including Cawl, vegetarian and lamb, cockles and lavabread on toast plus a selection if traditional cibatas and other foods. One point to note it is more of a Bistro and don't let first glances fool you. Plus a good selection of spirits and beers for sale in the shop some of wich are made on site.

What a little Gem. Purchased majority of my Christmas gifts here as they have huge range of hampers. Jams, marmalades, chutneys, wines, liquors, and lunch always delicious. Thanks Richard and team. Visited again on Saturday for a great lunch for my sisters birthday. Very Covid safe. Even Santa wearing a face mask. Thanks for presenting the cake. See you soon.

Whatever you do...don't let them offer you a sample... I visited here today for the first time. A lovely welcoming atmosphere. A great little gem tucked away, I've been driving past it without knowing they served food and drinks. After a pleasant time enjoying a latte and a delicious piece of Rocky road, O must admit I was drawn to the display of alcoholic beverages for sale. Without been overbearing, I was offered a sample of my choice if I wanted. Well it's rude not to support local business on these trying times, so purely out if good manners you understand I partook with the innkeepers tipple. Needless to say this resulted in a purchase and I thought I better add a sloe gin as well for she who must be obeyed (I work on the theory of you get something for yourself and the good lady she is less likely to tell you off) Staff were friendly and prices reasonable. I did have to ask if they had charged correctly. Will happily reccommend and will be back again.

I've been buying Celtic's drinks for years (since they were doing local craft shows) and have always enjoyed them. Their drinks are mainly sweet/medium-sweet, but they specialise in fruit wine and liqueur, so fair enough. I haven't tried every product but would say the flavours are well executed. Their Sloe Gin is particularly good and the Damson Liqueur makes a great desert wine/digestif. I've had a guided tour of their building and I can confirm they are genuine and make their drinks on-site. We visited their cafe today, for the first time. They serve the usual cafe food - toasties, jacket potatoes, salads etc, but all made with very nice, fresh, local produce. We all enjoyed our meals. Highly recommended if you want to stop for a light lunch or check out their wide selection of excellent fruit wines and liqueurs. I have no relationship with Celtic Country Wines. Just a long-time satisfied customer.
